Linda Vensel was a graduate of Project CENTRL Class II and has served as Vice President on the CENTRL Board for several years in addition to being a Past President of the CENTRL Alumni Board. CENTRL is a leadership organization. Linda Brooks Vensel recently retired after 41 years of employment which included being a Business Education teacher at Marana High School and Pima Community College; in finance as a Credit Analyst, an Agriculture Loan Officer and Auditor; and finally retiring from the Arizona Agriculture Department as their Procurement Manager and Auditor. She has been very active in local, state and national agriculture arenas, such as: AZ State Cowbelles-Past President and also Cattlewoman of the Year in 2008, American National CattleWomen - Region VI and Legislation Chairs and the National Beef Cook-Off, AZ State Representative and the University of Arizona Alumni Board serving as Homecoming Chair for two years, UofA College of Agriculture Alumni Board - Past President, Ag 100, 4-H Foundation - Past President, AZ National Livestock Show - Director, AZ Wool Producers, AZ Cattlemen's Assn., Deacon at Paradise Valley Presbyterian Church, as well as other agriculture and service organizations too numerous to mention. Linda is a real UofA Wildcat fan holding three degrees from the University.
